I was supposed to take the month of December off to work on all the 2026 stuff... but I couldn't!
I blame @the.ember.alchemist for reminding me how much I enjoy reading One Piece and all the fun things I wanted to do for the fandom. I also blame @starspaceanimates because she always agrees to fun art workshops!
Anyway come geek out with us, do some self-care, level up your creativity, and connect with your local community! The workshop is for all ages!
Tickets must be reserved before the workshop; all ages welcome! Kiddos under 13 y/o need to bring an adult with them.
Get your tickets HERE!
CALL TO ACTION!!!
Psychology for Geeks is all about encouraging self-care via hobbies, plus we love win-win situations. Here is a win-win-win-win event we are organizing with @psychoknittercustoms.
Win: learn or spend time knitting, crocheting, etc.
Win: spend time with community members with similar hobbies.
Win: donate your creations to local shelters.
Win: great way to practice self-care and support your community. Oh yeah, almost forgot!
WIN: @purerelaxations has donated a 90-minute massage gift certificate as a great incentive to participate in our event! (The flyer says 60, but it's a 90-minute!!)
Join us!
DM us if you would like to donate (monetarily or in beanies).
PS. Gong Cha has great hot drinks we can enjoy as we chat and create! I recommend the Oolong tea!
We are teaming up with Atrie's Gaming Center to bring our very first self-workshop to Selma! We will be crafting a game controller out of paper and cardboard to create a box!
Reserve your tickets now!
The workshop is for all ages. Kiddos under 13 must bring an adult with them.
We hope to see you there!
A self-care workshop led to a one-day fundraiser, One Piece style. We will be hosting two self-care workshops, some coloring, and a bunch of other fun events at The Ember Alchemist in Clovis!
Workshops:
create your own wanted poster
craft the one piece (pirate chest)
Here is the link for the workshops! We are working on making it possible to walk in or pay at the door for the workshops, but for now, tickets must be purchased before the event.
We have partnered with Forged N 3D to bring you a fantastic gift for yourself, a loved one, or a donation to a local library.
I've noticed many adults fidget with the minis and then don't buy them, even though it's clear they enjoy playing with them! No matter how old we are, we can have fun, and it's ok to use objects, medications, etc. to help us get through the day.
Our goal is to sell 50 mystery fidget bundles!!! Please help us reach our goal, get a gift for yourself, a family member, and donate one to a local library.
Here are the local libraries we will donate to: Wasco Branch Library, Shafter Library and Learning Center, Corcoran, Hanford, Avenal, Lemoore, and Stratford.
The fidgets come with little sacks to make it easier to put them away and give them. You will receive 10 fidgets for only $15

Guild Purpose and Values
Insight over perfection- we level up through awareness, not flawless performance
Curiosity is sacred- questions are spell craft, and exploring your mind is heroic
Compassion is armor- we protect each other with kindness
Community is the party- no hero journeys alone
Growth is the story- your progress is a continuing narrative, not a straight line
As a guild member, you will enjoy the following benefits.
monthly side quests (aka information to level up our mental health with easy ways to practice)
access to members-only channel on Discord
a community calendar emailed to you with more mental health information, suggestions, reflection questions, and fun ideas to level up our mental health
vote for new content and monthly side quests
as we build our membership, we will add more events online and in person
